I developed MBSEF.org while living in Bend OR from 08/2005-04/2008. I built a Simple CMS solution to allow MBSEF to manage page content.
I finally upgraded Simple CMS from FckEditor 2.6 to CKeditor 3.1. I also integrated the CFFM file manager.
Rick Root, the creator of CFFM, has a demo which shows these tools working together. To see CFFM, click the icon 
then click “Browse Server”.
The integration was made easier thanks to the instructions of Gurpreet Singh Randhawa.
Simple CMS currently manages the content on 59 MBSEF pages. I’ll use the MBSEF Calendar to show how CFEditor/CFFM is integrated into the site.
This is the MBSEF Calendar page as seen by the General Public.
Below is the calendar page as seen by a Site Admin… notice the Simple CMS Links. Click [Create Draft] to edit the page using CFEditor.
The Draft is created and CFEditor is invoked… I’m using a custom toolbar.
I added April Fools! to the Calendar.
Looks good… to make it “LIVE”, click [Promote Draft].
That’s it! Oooops… I forgot to show CFFM in action. No worries… it works as advertised.
